Yeah, this game was over with before the homecoming queen was crowned. South Pittsburg came out and took it to the Tigers. Whitwell did get a good drive and had a few good plays but for the most part the Pirate D kept the Tigers on their own side of the field. It seemed like Whitwell owned the time of possession though only allowing the Pirates few opportunities to get some stats. But the Pirates took full advantage when they did the ball. A good game by the Pirates as they get ready for the showdown next week with Boyd Buchanan.

zonepirate i have to say you always have the inside scoop!! always go the latest on temple, know about the SP gym finances, and the whitwell middle finances!! How do you find time to help coach football? Hargis should be coming to you for info! Now if only i knew who old pirate was id be set, id never lack for a source thats for sure! Old Pirate says the pirates were not at their best tonight. But officials as a group were as bad as been seen in SP. Congrats to the coaching staff on another win. The players needed work for 4 quarters, the starters are not in shape to play a full game. The Tyner game showed too many players struggling with leg cramps. OP says whitwell showed promise for a young team. OP was surprised the whitwell team did not have better fan support.

Old Pirate says the game went as most predicted and the officiating was horriable. OP wonders how was Legend's trip the the creek bank? OP would have liked to seen that one.

It went ok. I was running late so I didn't get to the game until about 10 minutes before kickoff. I saw Gordonsville and Trousdale play different teams last season and neither team is as good as they were last year, but that's only my opinion.
