I said I know more than you. Your rings mean you have been around good players or just with coaches who you were around when they had good players. Get a job and make a name for youself and quit riding the coat tails of others. Anybody can say they have rings. Name a ring you have because of what you did.

You act as if you know me. You do not respect the job i have done in my career as a coach. It sounds as if you are jealous of the success i have been involved in. You are a bitter man judging by your posts. It is too bad your career has led you to North Alabama and caused you so much anguish. Where did your other post go? I enjoyed coaching at Hillwood and was involved with a bunch of wins in the 3 years I coached there. The teaching part was not as enjoyable. Keep hating on me. I can take it like a man. I will continue to be a successfull coach and positively impact the young men and women at my school. Finally , I am glad you believe you know more than me. I hope that thinking leads you to many wins and the respect of the kids you coach /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Coach, This is coacht.com, do not let my posts or anything said by anyone upset you. Continue to coach hard and I wish you much success. Many of your posts have been interesting ,in fact you started all this by patting youself on the back about the staff at Hillsboro. I still think the staffs at Antioch and Overton are the best, just an opinion. All this discussion with you was done in fun,do not take it serious and best wishes. I was just picking on you. Never been a coach, just a longtime fan of high school football in Nashville. My other post was deleted by mistake, meant to edit and hit delete.

I dont know either one of you but I enjoy reading what both of you have to say. All three staffs seem to be good. I dont know anyone from Hillsboro's staff but I would think that Fite would be a great LB coach. He was one of the best LBs I have seen play. Oveton picked up a great coach in McGill this season and Fuller came back as well. I am partial to both Overton and Antioch but thats just my opinion.

FB247 where are you coaching in Alabama?

Never been a coach,he thinks I'm someone else. Just an observer and fan for a long time. Saw 12NCS play in high school, he does not know me. I go watch a different game every Friday. This week Thursday and Friday. Been doing this for 25 years. Over the years have seen every team in Nashville play ,public and private, and know each team's coaching staff. Love high school football and live it 24/7.

    • Eagleville hosting shows laziness on the part of the TSSAA and a complete disregard for the appearance of impartiality. Absolutely nothing against EHS. Its not their fault TSSAA is lazy.    I understand EHS staff work the games at Eagleville, and they don’t want to miss the EHS games. However this isn’t rocket science. It would take less than 1 hour to cross-train EHS and RHS volunteers at the opposite sites. If Eagleville (or any host)  makes the tournament, flip their game site and have the volunteers flip sites for the days their school plays at the opposite site. Magically the school’s fans would be present to watch the their kids play and the kids at least lose some familiarity and home field advantage.  It takes almost no effort and is a ~15 minute extra drive.
    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
