Gallatin just doesn't have the team this year as they did last year. If the refs were bad then do something about it and stop complaning about how they lost the game for yall. Good job by antioch

You better reread my post...I never said that the refs lost it for us. I am sure that a formal complaint will be made although I doubt that will produce much. You need to get a copy of the WHIN 1010 broadcast and listen to what Coach Calvin Short said about the refs before you get on here and make accusations about us blaming the refs which I did not do. This team is not as good as last years but don't be a hater if you have no clue to what we are referring too!

From what I read in the Tennessean and what has been posted here it does seem that Gallatin has some bad breaks not go there way.

That was a tough loss on your homecoming.

Good job to Antioch for grinding it out and getting the close win.

And even though Gallatin got bad breaks the refs still didnt score 12 points for Antioch and hold Gallatin to 0 in the fourth quarter. You have to control what you can control.

Its time for everyone to focus on next weeks games.

They all just became bigger.

gallatin folks calm down

you play with the talent that shows up at your school it goes in cycles and right now gallatins talent is down some.

The cycle was pretty good for you last year with all those seniors.

Now coaching is certainly important but usually the team with the most talent wins

Just a couple of facts about the 2 calls in question. #1. The inadvertant whistle actually hurt Antioch because def. pass interference was called and this would have been a 1st down for Antioch. #2. The punter was ruled down because he went to a knee to field the bad snap.

well the inadvertant whistle still was a pick and even if the punters knee was down he didnt have control of the ball

Yes it was a pick but would have been called back for interference. If the punter didnt have control of the ball then how did he get off of his knee and punt the ball?

Interesting that other teams are publicly calling out Gallatin's defense as "slow"-see Tennessean.

As I had said a couple of weeks ago, this Green Wave team just has too many holes all over the field. The defense gives up another 20+ points and apparently can not stop the pass anymore than tissue paper can stop a semi-truck. Seeing as how the pass defense is what cost them their perfect season last year it might be a good idea to hire a defensive coordinator that understands pass coverage. Whether the "traditionalists" at Gallatin like it or not, everyone else has learned to throw the football, and does so 15-20 times a game. So you better learn how to defend it.

WHERE IS COACH WALLS?????

TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

evidenally you werent at the game because it was obvious that the punter didbt have control and was bobbling the ball until he wass standing up completely but its over and done with wheter it was the wrong call or not its a "L" on our record and a "W" on theyres i just hope we come off of a lose like that the right way

According to your statement then Gallatin should not win against the metro schools except once in a blue moon.

Why is everyone so excited that Gallain is not doing so well?

I dont think 5a metro teams are all that talented and really other than 4a hillsboro they are not that talented so if you are getting beat by antioch then it pretty much makes my point your talent is down this year.

but if you think you are only losing because of coaching then maybe they will fire them all after this year and everyone will be happy

    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
    • Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
