I feel that the top teams are stronger in this Region than in previous years. Howard, McMinn Central, and Polk, are stronger than last year. The bottom teams are truley down, but Meigs is a good team. Grundy Co. and ND are not that bad either.

 

My predictions:

 

1. Howard - Fast and athletic with playmakers. Good special teams.

 

2. MC - Very talented, but young. Big playmakers and strong defense. Depends on turnovers on how this plays out, to many right now. Talent makes up for mistakes.

 

3. Polk Co. - Physical and well coached. Disipline is the key here.

 

4. Meigs Co. - Heart, Heart, and more Heart. These guys play so hard.

Why do you not include MC?

When they beat Polk or Howard then they will earn some respect in my eyes in this very weak region.

Well Polk is gonna get beat by Meigs Central and Howard so i think the region goes like this

 

Toss up between Mc and Howard that will be this regions game of the year followed by Meigs and then Polk

Discipline is the key and MC does not have any. Also talent does not always make up for mistakes especially if you keep making the same ones over and over.

It could play out a couple of ways but I don't see MC being 2nd, maybe 3rd or possibly 4th. Don't overestimate Grundy beating MC.

2) Howard finishes second with their only loss comin from Meigs

 

3) Central stays in third losing to both Howard and Polk
