Do you ever NOT whine? I predicted you'd complain about the refs in the 4th sentence. I was close. You know, Westy has a good team. Wix is just an absolute monster. Your D-Line played great tonight. LAST YEAR / NEXT YEAR. I'm sure all of this years players were thrilled by the fact that you made excuses for 'em losing before they even took the first snap of the season. Now you're already talking about getting put out in the first round. The only thing the refs screwed up was 1. forgetting to mark off the penalty against WESTY until coach Maynord call it out and 2. I honestly think they screwed up getting the ball set as the clock expired. MANY SC fans said the same thing. Could Westy have gotten off a play with 3.8 seconds left? Who knows. Can you not lose a game and just come out and say you got beat?

Postman is on to us!!! He's figured out that we let Smith County borrow the same refs we hire in Macon County to make calls for us.....oh no wait....that happened in Westmoreland...yea...that's it they were the same refs we hired for the game in Westmoreland.......(what a joke!)

I went to the game and just like I said I would, I went to the Smith Co. concession stand to payup the money to Antwan but he was no where to be seen. Guess he knew that Westmoreland had given almost everything that Smith Co. had gotten in the game to that point. The refs gave them the rest of what they did. Typical game for this years Westmoreland group. They are young but improving, especially on defense. Antwan I think you would agree that both teams are just about equal to each other. York is also. Smith Co. had better be on upset alert against Cannon Co., thats all I can say. They have a running back with great team speed and they run those sally plays very well. I dont see Smith Co. advancing that far in the playoffs this season unless they play some really weak teams. They will defintely get to play a 3rd place team but from what region. As for Westmoreland, I'm sure we will draw a good one, but hey, like I said earlier, I would rather play the best the first week and win or lose than play a crappy team and blow them out only to get slaughtered in the semis by a true championship caliber team. Smith Co. fans, realize this, you played a team with 5 seniors and 2 of them start. You pulled the game out by 8 points with 22 seniors on your squad. You won thats all that matters in the end but I hope we face you again in the playoffs because I really like our chances playing your team twice this season. Your offensive line doesnt scare anybody other than a McDonalds fast food worker trying to close up for the night. Eagles, you'll bounce back from this loss and it will make you better. Remember this season and the lessons you have learned. Maybe we wont make the same mistakes in the playoffs and defintely next season since all of you have 1 or 2 more years left to right all the wrongs you have committed this season. Hold your heads up high Eagles and come out and win next Friday night.

I was at the concession stand. You were not. Postalwelcher...I saw no Jets hat. Should I be surprised?

SC played absolutely terrible and still won the game. All you have to do is win. It was another moral victory for the Big Birds. You forget we lost our whole team...pretty much...from last year (17 seniors) and still we will finish a close 2nd in the region. That is where we were picked to finish. Where were you predicted to finish?

Oh and stamp licker, we lost 17 seniors "last year" You know, QB, FB, RB, 2 WR's, 3 OL.... I'll just stop on the offensive side of the ball from "last year". So how did we win this year losing so many seniors "last year"? I would really like your insight to this question....no not really /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

OOOOOOOH! I saw Antwan early and he was ready for his tax rebate from the Postal one. After all, Twan is trying to reload from a recent downtick in his net worth. I'm gonna have to agree with Calhoun, a win is a win is a win.

Just because you or none of your picks have been able to upset SC, doesn't mean you should jump on every band wagon that comes through. You keep on picking them though, you are bound to get one right sooner or later. Probably later, of course.

That's right owls1987, but actually we lost 3 of our starting receivers. Cannon, Bass and Tez. Every skilled position was lost. And now these seniors have stepped up with very little if any experience, and when they are gone, the next group will step up. So what is your point postal dude? Do you think that you are the only one that graduates good football players? Just keep cooking up them moral victories!

If everyone wins the games they are suppose to:

Rematch

Round 1

TSSAA State Playoffs

Westmoreland @ Smith County.

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.

I wish I had bet you $20 postalwelcher would not be there. Nah...you wouldn't have taken that bet either. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Where were you oh postalwelcher? We do have two concession stands. I told fanman you would use that excuse to get out of the bet. Ya know...kinda like your ref excuses.

Antwan, it wasn't a bet. Remember, it was a gift after a wrong prognostication of a game. Maybe he thought, since it wasn't actually a bet, he would just give the Andrew to United Way or the newly formed "official zebra fund" in Westmoreland.

That rematch would be kinda like all the other teams SC normally gets to play early in the playoffs.

OK, I figured out the difference in the game. It wasn't Westy's turnovers or penalties. It was the fact that I heard that we practiced in the INDOOR PRACTICE FACILITY last week. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

The preceding message was intended for Mr. Postman1 and no others

Smith Count made the big plays tonight, Westmoreland did not. That was the difference in the game. I think the score was about right. Everytime these two teams play, it should be a one score margin. The Owls make up for talent with aggressiveness. Tonight, Westmoreland made up for talent by jumping offsides and handing the ball to an Owl.

Actually, Antwan, Postman and I stood at your concession stand for at least 15 minutes. (I wanted to shake the hand of the great Twan himself) He had on his trusty Jets hat, and we waited patiently. No Twan to be seen. Postman's son was even calling out for you..."Antwerp, oh Antwerp, where are you?" Nothing. Oh well, maybe next time.

either Westmoreland has improved a great deal or SC has stepped back.

Anyway, congratulations SC.

And Postman, don't kick any poodles tomorrow. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I think someone is slipping. Westy got a first down.

I owed you that one termite, for the dump statement earlier. We both know where the dump is located. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
