But we as fans should be the ones to point out the POSITIVES not the negatives. These boys count on our support and we should give it to them. I don't believe in pointing out the negative that is the coaches jobs. We are the ones who should help to keep their heads held high no matter what. THE GOOD AND THE BAD SITUATIONS!!!!!

I agree that we should be the ones to keep their heads up in the air. These are kids for goodness' sake.

But, if you will re-read my earlier post, I was pointing out that the original poster did say it would be 42-35 and should be a very good game. Yeah, he was negative about some players (one of which I'm not so sure isn't deserved, but that is just based on 1 game observation and notice I didn't name him), but the poster was giving Ooltewah credit for keeping it close.

I am a FAN, win , lose, or draw. I ALWAYS support my team. Heck, I had season tickets when the braves were in last place every year. So with that said, IF they need my services at the pep rally, I'll be more than happy to oblige. And my bloomers would be more than you could handle. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> As a matter of fact I gave up the chance to go to the Bama/Tn game just so I wouldn't miss the Owls game! And no, I don't have anyone in the band, on the team, cheering, or dancing. I just love high school football and I love Ooltewah....maybe I should run for mayor, if we had one /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> All I can say is GO OWLSOwls by 3!TribeFan I like you more and more each time you post. Good Luck Friday night.

You are a sad, strange little man and you have my pity. Farewell..

Owlfanatic, how could you take Steve Rays job as mayor of Ooltewah? Since it's been a couple of years does anyone have directions to Farragut? I can look them up, just lazy I guess.

Owls by 3 in a tightly fought game.

Go Owls

HornedOwl...... I would never, ever, think of taking anything from Steve Ray. he is the best thing since sliced bread, and Ooltewah could not function without him. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> (how's that for a plug?) You know Steve's an old Farragut boy, but I think he loves Ooltewah more.

I have said from day one Ooltewah by 3 in the last minutes of the game. We'll show those people from Times Free Press! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Go OWLS!

You're right.....as usual. Let's take whatever works tonight and use it to our advantage. I'm not worried abut offense, we'll find a way to get it done. I am worried about STERLING...he is dangerous. The D-Line will have their work cut out for them.

Good Luck Owls!

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
