I've not done any smack talking on these boards in a while because I know better.... Bledsoe is one of the most confusing teams I've ever seen week-to-week.... They play real good for a couple and then don't show up for a couple.... Chad, you had a great game plan and executed it very well.... I'd like to know what grade #6 is in because if he is just a freshmen then Cannon fans you all have a bright future at running back... Some of the flags tonight I didn't necessarily agree with but oh well we lost and Cannon won! Good Luck to Cannon the rest of the season and I'll be looking forward to seeing you all come over the mountain next year.....

To Cannon County Players, Coaches, and Fans:

Congrats on the win, you were definately the better of the 2 teams on the field last night. Good luck next week.

 

To Bledsoe County Players, Coaches, and Fans:

 

Things this team has accomplished: Defeated rivals Marion and Sequatchie, 3rd in the region, made the playoffs. Also gave the fans some exciting and fun to watch football this year.

Question: When was the last time Bledsoe defeated Marion and Sequatchie in back to back years?

 

With that said: We must never be content or settle for anything, if we do, we are falling behind! Do not settle for defeating Marion. Do not settle for defeating Sequatchie. Do not settle for just making the playoffs! Prepare every week, strive to improve after wins as well as losses.

 

We continue to not utilize the short passing game, this truly boggles the mind. Cannon with 8 & 9 in the box and we run the ball or throw deep. Freshmen starting on defense? #40 out of the game on defense? #44 not starting? When you gain momentum and confidence as a team, every effort must be made to keep it, because once it is gone it is very difficult to regain.

 

Of course there is always the possibility that Cannon and their region are that much better than Bledsoe and their region, we certainly saw that last year in the playoffs. Oh well chances are pretty good that we will get another shot at this region in the playoffs, so we'll see.

 

#32 is a heck of an athlete, no doubt, but he does not make a 31 point difference.

first, i am sick of people whining about what i say on these boards. the truth is that i have been a fan and supported bledsoe athletics with money and my attendance for years and will be doing that when most of the other people on here are not even a part because their kids aren't playing. now for the game: CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CANNON COUNTY FOOTBALL TEAM AND COACH BARGER! I was so wrong that i feel like helen keller with a knitting needle. every time i move i have to say ouch. You have worked hard and it shows. now for bledsoe, i am at a loss, many people on here want to criticize the players and say we don't have talent. bull! i am embarrassed by the behavior of our fans, we have to have people escorted out of the game that is enough in itself to embarrass us but then we get a penalty on the sideline for something (not sure what i was at concession stand) our team didn't look ready to play and our defense was brutal. i am glad that we have a week off before the play-offs to maybe get things straightened out. Warriors, get ready to play your season is just starting and what you do from here on out will determine what kind of team you really are. Coaches, get yourselves ready to play and dress and act like coaches not pout when things aren't going your way and then chest bump when you make a good play. Consistency and discipline will get you a long way

I am going to go ahead and put my prediction out there now. BLEDSOE loses. Bledsoe is heading to the playoffs and comes in to this one with 2 big wins behind them and will use this game to tune up for the first round. Cannon comes in after another close loss, and will do exactly what I stated they would do tonight...they will win. Cannon has a long tradition of winning and that is what they will do next week. I am not saying that in time they can't learn to win and a program could not be built there, but they are doing exactly what I said they would do...they are winning and next week that streak will continue for them just as Bledsoe's streak will continue. Bottom line...Bledsoe loses!

I guess all our folks here in Bledsoe are still celebrating about making the playoffs and the folks over at Cannon are just now realizing what kind of team they actually have. Oh well, there is at least 1 old Warrior already excited about the next game, and I am sure a bunch more will be as soon as they have come down from last nights victory. Or maybe its just hard to get too excited about playing Cannon. Anyway, lets here it Warrior fans...how big will this blowout be?

OH NO Bledsoe! I think everybody from Marion Co. tried to tell you not to over look Cannon Co(We will beat them by 20).

I posted that they have a good QB and #6 can fly.

I wonder, did some of their fans come to the fence and taunt your Defence after you gave up those tds like yours did when you scored the 2 pt. conversion to win the game against MCHS. I don't think they did, They seemed to have more class.

Old Pirate says it's as simple as this. BC has to prove they can get it up consistantly. Heck, just look at Tenn. They looked like world beaters against Ga. OP knows............ not trying to slap that kind of play on the warriors.

Come on...not with the scoreboard stuff thats real mature. I just got one question is cannon goin to the playoffs? Even though yal did play good tonight it was only 2 backs that one it for yal, and the officials were aweful!

 

 

 

the officials went both ways buddy, and cannon can still make the play-offs. cc is in a much tougher region than bledsoe anyways. and most likely bledsoe is gonna have to face a region4 opponent in the first round and you'll will see how tough our region really is

i totally agree. . . also i dont see any way bledsoe could possibly justify why they lost by so much. It is almost immature that they want to blame it on the officials. Not showing up is one thing, but pointing fingers and making excuses is what leads to problems in football programs. It already seems like Bledsoe has enough problems to deal with already as it is.
