Who Should Host...Who Has A field?

There have been several posts related to the quality of high school soccer fields, schools that desire to host a post-season event, and particular issues related to certain undesirable fields. Perhaps it would an interesting to hear how people not only rate their field, but others. Would be interesting to hear back from players as well as parents on this....

St Agnes = 12

You sure went to a lot of trouble to slam the St. Agnes Field, but I guess no one can read your intentions. You might want to add a few more measurements, like:

______ Number of cows present

______ Number of deer stands and amount of hunter orange visable

______ How many games has the home team won on it

______ How do you really feel

AND

_________________sucks and that's what I was trying to get acoss. I just thought the field deal was a good cover.

AND BY THE WAY, YOU SURE SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON HERE FOR F R E E --WHY NOT INVEST $12.00 so I can send you an e-mail. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Water Pooch-

Why make it personal when it was a legitimate comment?

The St Agnes field is not a very good facility- the field is too short, the track is on the field, and the best home field advantage of all-

playing with one ball so you can knock it out of bounds into the surrounding neighborhood and have the time waste away.

Happy Bounces to All- (even the private schools)!

Wow!

How about getting a life or a job.

Previous posts show "Canesoverhere" to be a Collierville parent of one of their seniors.

I guess he is still giddy over the 'Canes beating Florida State yesterday.

You have one of the nicer facilities in the state.

There were several posts in other threads about who wants to host a district or a region. Rather than start a thread within a thread, I felt it more appropriate to open a new thread under its own cover. Okay, stat the thread. How do you quantify what is a "good" facility and what is jusst closer to home. Take your own stab at it.

Regarding the scale, apparently, this was all meant in fun. I doubt whether any would score over 20 let alone 25 , there is not perfect facility, although yours comes close.

Apparently this hit a sore spot with others.

I agree it is a less than perfect arrangement, but it wasn't designed to give anyone an advantage. It is limited by being in an old, established neighborhood that won't allow lights to be installed and complained about the new scoreboard being too bright. I don't think any game has ever had one ball, that is ludicrous. As for personal, I just don't get why someone goes to all the trouble and mental master....... to put together a rating system that has no purpose and then answers their own question. And yes I know he's from Collierville and they did get a goal in the 71st minute this year to tie a team they can't beat and they were on that tiny, one-ball field and SAA stalled the entire game so they couldn't score. GIVE ME A BREAK.
