The pitcher from Maryville is Sarah Fekete. She signed with UT and will work on playing in the outfield. Tennessee has 3 of the top 5 pitchers in the country coming next year from Arizona, Colorado, and Virginia (this year's recruiting class was ranked #9 nationally). Also signed are Kristen Bass from Baylor along with a player from Lincoln County (Elizabeth ??). All three of these girls will be playing ASA gold together this summer.

Hey lilfek2, i remember from another thread you said you are Sarah's sister. Do you pitch too? How old are you if you don't mind me asking. If you do pitch, I bet the folks in that district aren't looking forward to another Fekete coming along...lol

The pitcher from Maryville is a walk on at U.T. She has not signed.

I think you better check the accuracy of your source, Sarah Fekete has signed a National Letter of Intent with Tennessee.

She was not listed with the 9 signees at U.T. and sources have reported that 2 local newspapers were called on the carpet for saying that she had signed when in fact she is a walk on.
