Yea he is a real great guy and Coach B will have the Lions ready to play this week. This should be a very interesting game with two of the best backs in the region on the same field. This game will come down to who can execute their gameplan the best because this game means a whole lot to cannon on making history in their program and pushing them to the next level. Good luck to both teams!!Go Lions!!!and that cupcake linebacker best show up to play agaisnt smith!!

Week 10 is finally upon us. This year's Lions-Owls match up will not be like most in the past. The Lions are playing some good ball this year. Its great to see an old region foe make the improvements they have in the past few years. The Owls sorta sleep walked through the middle of the season, yet appeared to wake up and play much better football last Friday night. Hopefully they can build on the effort and continue to improve as the playoffs are almost here. As Antwan said, every game has a huge impact due to the new 2A playoff format.

Looking forward to this game. Cannon has made tremendous strides since coach Barger has been here and they are still improving. Smith County is an outstanding program and a like always will be well prepared. The lions run game is effective. In my opinion the two best RB'S in the region will be on the field in Smith's Cody Rich and Cannon's Melvin Young should be a great battle. Maybe kind of a measuring stick game to see how far Cannon's program has came. Hope Cannon wins, but i think Smith takes it by 10. Looking forward to seeing a lot of the good people from Smith County Friday!

SC will always bring a crowd. With that being said, I'm not too scared to brag on these OWLS. One tough loss, in which alot of breaks had to go against them, from a perfect season. Other than Week 1 and Week 9, they have played business-like football. Nothing inspiring...nothing eye-catching...nothing over-hyped....JUST WINNING. SC hasn't played up to their potential.....YET. Those games are here now.
