We're looking for scoring software to run on laptop. Windows based and not DOS. Game summaries, play-by-play, half time stats, and so on.

 

What are some good packages out there?

I've always liked Turbo Stats for baseball. They have a basketball version, but I've never used it. You can typically download a demo and see how you like it.

I have used TurboStats for the last three years. It is very good, the one thing about that program is it does not give a good play by play report.

 

I have seen Digital Scout and it works a lot like TurboStats, but has better reports from what I have seen.

Thank you! I couldn't remember Digital Scout's name for anything. I'll look at both packages.

I use Digital Scout. You can use it on a laptop or PDA. the website is www.digitalscout.com

They have programs for just about all sports. Good price to. If you send you stats into papers or websites it has the info to do that.

great program also has the pocket pc add-on and I got e-mail (dont know the details) that it now has voice activation.

Digital Scout is the way to go. Used it for years now.
