Pirates win......Hello Mr Legend. I was surprised Tyner didnt win by more honestly. I spent last weekend feeling poorly and didnt attend any game. No Old Pirate I dont need a handicapped parking space this friday either. Im fine. This next thing is hard to admit but Mrs Capone and Mrs Capones neighbor (both Jasper fans) are going to York with a Jasper Living Legend. Sorry LL but he beat you to that honor of sitting with her. As for me ill be at Jimmy Wigfall Stadium early cruising around the track and stands telling lies and listening to more lies.

 

GRUNT i apologize if i ruffled your feathers with one of my earlier posts. I think Vic would accept that forfeit if TC really decides not to come. Steverinos probably wont be so happy. I understand they are expecting around 8000 diners that night. I personally will be happy with a single point win friday. Every Pirate fan knows TC will bring some serious game this weekend. Honestly though i actually believe this Pirate team will win this game going away. They are very goood (2nd best Pirate team of all time) and need some good competition to test themselves. Also i believe the TREZ will be returning this game. Makes a good team even better.

Do you think that they got there living legend status by shooting off at the mouth about a battle like this? Come on now legend you know better than that. They leave all the spouting off and predicting to us armchair quarterbacks and bleacher coaches.

 

 

Its no secret that South Pittsburg has strength and speed to contend with but what kind of offense and who are TC's players that have been major contributors this season?

South Pittsburg has a lot of talent but weak coaching and poor discipline. They are 10-0 because the programs in their district are weak. Tyner,a good 2-A team should have beaten them, but their coaching is weaker than SP's. I see Trousdale smashing their glass bubble in a big way. TC-35, SP-20.

 

OK i have to reply to this post... Zone compared to last year ive been pretty calm this year lol. BUT let me say this and let me be clear about this. Tyner should not have beaten spitt... we were up 20 -7 at one point. on a team with twice as many players at the Pirates... I have seen every game spitt has played this year and let me say this with out being biased... This Team is one of the best Teams i have ever seen. PERIOD of any classifacation... this team can score at any moment on any team....I am proud of them thats for sure... and its not there fault that the region isnt like region 4.... we have had the mercy rule go into affect 9 games this year if im not mistaken...If you think for one second this is not one of the best high school teams you have ever seen.. ask silverdale, ask Grace, ask Lookout valley... ask the Tyner coach what he said after the game....I know of a college scout that was at a game 2 weeks ago when the score was 62-6 at halftime. I asked him what he thought.. he said "WOW".....all i can tell you is take a seat and hold on friday night....... if you think spitt is poorley coached and in bad shape. ill bet at the end of the 4th you wont say that. so here is what I think and im being honost.... I wouldnt doubt, it wouldnt suprise me and I dotn think it would suprise anyone that has seen the pirates play this year to see the mercy rule in affect by 4th qtr's end...region 4 is bad about saying well last year this and that. this team is 5 times the team was last year.... the fastes team ive ever seen on a football feild.. the best backfield ive ever seen on a high school team... the best smaller line ive ever seen. very strong.. a defense that will hit you so hard they will knock the teeth out of your driver's license.... if you dont think spitt is all that my friend.. id love to know where you are setting at the game so i can take a pic of your face and post it on here after the game... now this post does not go out to all TC fan's.. they have some great fan's and i have the upmost respect for them.. they are a young team and will do well in the future but for now..........>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. pirates 42 TC 13

TC runs a WingT pretty much like the SP base set, double wing with motion just about every play. We both run the same formations and the base wingT plays like buck, sweep, toss, G, power, counter, QB counter, etc. TC just got #12 Seay back a few weeks ago so expect to see him at wideout and wing. Their QB runs the offense well. He is a decent runner but passing is not his strong suit. Of course TC is a run first team like SP so having a world class passer is not a requirement since most passes are off of some type play action. I think their FB is #32 ...he runs hard and plays good D. #80 Ford plays in different spots but he is pretty good on O and D. Those are the ones that stick out. They have a couple good linemen...I think #55 is one that goes hard but I may have that # wrong and I don't remember the other one. TC only has 2 seniors and 10 Jrs so they are young.

I agree withmost of that. But the best Ive EVER seen, no. The best 1A team ive ever seen, yes. The Red Bank team that won state with Riggs was the best high school team ive ever seen.

I agree, though South Pitt is gonna jump out early. Ive watched them play 3 times this year, and they impress me more each time. Jones has improved two fold since he played us, Robinson has been consistent, and the passing is coming along. Should be a great postseason run for the pirates.
