I just looked at the western side and instead of selecting seeds by 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc, you go by win loss record the seeding would be as follows

In that scenario, I doubt any of the Region 9 teams would make it past round 1.

I really don't like the new set up , look at region 9 teams that made playoffs .Ist has a 4 and 6 record and the 3 and 7's . Alot of better teams are sitting at home instead of playing . But as far as 1st round games go , looks like everything moved up a week from years past . But this i just my opinion .

 

 

Carver is probably better than their record indicates.

 

They played 4 Div II schools that had a combined record of 27-14. They lost to a 7-3 3A playoff team by 3, and got beat by a AP top 5 4A school from Mississippi that went 8-2. They beat every 2A team they faced. They beat BTW by 24 and thats pretty respectable because Milan beat BTW by 21. Not saying they could beat Milan or Westview, but I think they are a lot better than that record indicates.

Was TSSAA playoff terms set before or after games were scheduled for this two year period?? I wonder how many schools like CPA would like to redo their schedules now. Anyway, Good Luck to you. SC has a good shot to meet DCA in 3rd round.

 

 

Thanks...and I don't know when this format was born. It is a double edged sword. I think you have a better team because you played such a tough schedule. You have a good shot to beat GP too. Good luck.
