Franklin looked great against Overton, while Hunters Lane beat a very tough Brentwood team in the final seconds. It should be a great game, but im predicting a Franklin win 28-24 since FHS is finally figuring out that they can score more points on the ground.

Haven't seen HL other than in a scrimmage, historically they're hoggies run out of gas in the second half. A good smash mouth run game with endurance can get er done!!

Should be a real good game. I give the coaching advantage to HLHS. However I give the scoreboard advantage to Franklin. Franklin by 7, lead in part by their defense and run game on offense.

This could be one of the better games of the 2nd round..

Since it will be a low-scoring game, whoever makes the least mistakes will win this one.

well i knwo of one team who put alot of piont on the franklin D "BWOOD".....and brentwood also stopped the running game of franklin O.....but hunterslane is very good at stopping the runnign game but idk about the pass......and from rumor has it franklin is gettting there act together...but franklins o line is gonna have to step it up cause hunterslanes d line is fast mobile big strong fast and agressive....... i think hunterslane will take the win because they are a very tought team and never give up nor does franklin so.......idk..i say hunterslane but 10

Since Franklin has a MUCH better offense than Brentwood, HLHS will have to make some adjustments to how they played last Friday. The Rebel defense may not be quite as good as B'wood but it is close. All things considered, this will be a much tougher game for HLHS. Since HLHS barely pulled out the win against the Bruins, the Rebels should win this one. FHS by 7.

 

My goodness, brentwoodfootball56, your post is almost illiterate (as have been every post on every topic you've commented on). The academic standards at BHS must have really dropped since my kid graduated from there six years ago.

Your basing that comment on one game.

You're acting like you won state on that one win - but look who's still playing!

Franklin's offensive line has been improving each week.

Heck, the whole team has improved since the Brentwood game.

 

Get off these boards, get back to the weight room & prepare for next season.

Oh yeah, take an english class so you can learn how to spell and use proper grammar.
