I know that Humbolt prolly has more athletism but Milan played a good Henry Co. team and lost by 7. I look for Milan to give Humbolt a tough game and possibly come away with a W.

GO DAWGS

thoughts?

Humboldt by a lot,but i hope you play them close and wear them down on Monday so when UC come to Humboldt on Tuesday that they will be a little leg weary.

I know Milan lost at least 3 starters and Humbolt lost 0 so i know that will have a big impact, any players to watch?

Milan will lose big time especially wit humboldt havin lost both hall of fame games. I expect them to take their frustrations out on milan and beat union city come tuesday...

I would expect Humboldt to win this game rather handily.....While the Vikings were losing two games to Middleton and Haywood,Union City was beating Jackson South Side and Memphis Mitchell....Should be a packed house in Humboldt on the 20th...Heckuva way to start the district season with the two best 14A teams facing each other....UC will have just a little added motivation going for them seeing as how Humboldt ended the Tornadoes season a year ago.....

I meant to paste this instead of the whole post..Lake Co plays Gleason but I'm just about tempted to come to the U.C. -Humboldt game tomorrow night to see first hand!I still say Lake Co will finish higher than 4th...And I believe Halls will beat Trenton for whatever spot yall have them in...But anyway...I said I was going to be quiet because you left out a couple key words...the best two 14A..Should have said...Two of the best 14A teams

You may be right...but I believe Milan was within 4 points of Humboldt at half time..I believe Humboldt had a 13 point lead late in the game..but I believe Milan is picked about 6th place in their district...just ahead of Crockett Co who got beat by Haywood about 69-8..or so I was told..And I imagine Milan has some basketball players still playing football..Those long arms of Lake Co are going to present some problems..And Russell Avery can shoot from 3 point range as well as close to the goal..So Epperson is going to have to go out and play..

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
