I would have to say that Coach Price is not only a Living Legend, but also a Leaping Legend. He is a good coach, but leaps from place to place pretty regularly. One has to wonder just how long he will last on top of Signal Mountain as well. I also am curious, how long it will take the Leaping Legend and the Living Legend that roams Red Bank's sidelines to get into it with each other over where a player will go to school. Rest assured one thing. There will be some very bad blood between these two schools. I wish The Leaping Legend Coach Price the best of luck at Signal Mountain. They have a chance to be very good within the next 10 years or so.

I would think they would be at least 2A and possibly 3A. It will be interesting to see their initial enrollment numbers.

"There are 425 students at the current Signal Mountain Middle School, and 200-300 others have signed up for the school"

 

If a third of the middle school students are 8th graders and if only 250 other students sign up they will be 2A size and could be 3A pretty quickly as the middle school kids move up

Mr. RoadWarrior, don't wish them too much luck. If they go 2A, it won't take long until they are down here in the valley trying to kick our butts. LOL

ENOUGH WITH "THE LIVING LEGEND STATUS" ! There are very few Living Legends out there and Coach Price isn't one of them. Please reserve this title for those who really deserve it!!

The new school in Hamilton County figures to be in the Single A (Under 400 Students) or Double AA (400 - 666 Students) classification. Like many new schools the football team will not be eligible for the playoffs in 2008 as they will be competing with a JV/Varsity schedule. The new football stadium will be built in phases and is expected to hold 1800 fans, have a track, and a field house with a 1400 hundred square foot weight room. The playing surface on the football field may be synthetic turf. The cost of the stadium is estimated to be between 1.8 - 2.4 million dollars. Nearly 90,000 dollars will be set aside for equipment/uniforms etc. With all this being said. Who will the new coach be? An announcement is expected in December. This looks like a possible gold mine for someone as students from Red Bank are expected to be rezoned. Any solid information on candidates will be appreciated.

1400 square ft. might not be a big enough weightroom for the team if Bill is in there lifting too.

$90,000 for uniforms? how much of that will be spent on Bill's skin tight shirts???

i would say if they are 2a they will be in the valley with all of us......wouldn't you...most 2a teams from chattanooga area are with us now.....
