As for Justin Blake ..ANY kid that can score over 1000pts. in 1 1/2 seasons is doing pretty dang good in my book!

And on top of that Justin does not play anywhere near a full 32 minutes a games. But, what impresses me the most about this young man is his dedication and his unselfishness. He is the first player to practice and the last one to leave. And it's always yes sir, no sir. He is a fine young man. Just like the Dyer County nominee 5 years ago, Brian Fisk.

You got that right..I've spoken with him and he is VERY polite and well spoken..in this day and age it is rare to hear yes m'am, no m'am. Very impressive young man.

Congrats to all of the players.. It seems hard to give the award to Mason from CPA even though he is tough to guard. But I think it helped alot that he has Drew Maddux (Former Vanderbilt star) coaching him. Drew has gotten that program alot of credibility and pub the last two years.

Next Monday and Tuesday night will really be great nights for High School Basketball. If both teams win their first round regional games. Monday night February 25th Mr. Basketball finalist M.J. Brown will be playing at 6:30 pm at Dresden High School. On Tuesday night February 26th Mr. Basketball finalist Reginald Buckner will be playing at 7:30pm at JCS High School. So for those of us in this area we could see these two young men play before the State Tournament
