statman3
Who pitched for Maryville? My understanding is that Monday didn't throw at all.

mwtfan
I can't think of her name. I think it is Cassey. She's the highly tauted softmore pitcher returning from last year that was so good. All I know for sure is that she was throwin' smoke. Probably the most heat I saw all weekend. And if you consider the teams that were there (Gibbs, Heritage, William Blount, Seymor) thats saying a lot. Heritage's pitcher(about 4' 9" and 85 lbs. soaking wet) was throwing the smoke as well. Leon(freshman pitcher for JCHS) has a little heat too. Overall the best pitcher this weekend was the pitcher from Maryville even though they went 2-2 for the weekend (losses to JCHS and Heritage). They have 2 really good ones - Monday, the Jr. who did most of the pitching last year and Conatser, the Soph. Sounds like Conatser threw against Jeff. I'll bet there isn't another HS team in East Tennessee that has 2 as good as these. I just don't know if they can score enough runs. Pretty impressive win for the Lady Pats!! Pretty impressive win for the Lady Pats!! Maryville actually did throw two different pitchers against JCHS. They started with the sophmore and finished with another pitcher. I am nit familiar with Maryville's pitchers(shame on me), but the second pitcher was alittle smaller with dark blonde hiar if that gives you a clue to who she is. Anyhow there was little difference in pitching between the two. If this was not the junior pitcher you referred to mwtfan then Maryville is really loaded with pitching. MrNoitAll
Maryville should be in every game with the staff that they have! I look for great things for them this year. Maybe in the Boro?????

mwtfan
So what IMAC teams are playing this weekend? I know that ME & MW are both playing in Powell's play day. What about the rest?
JC#1fan
So what IMAC teams are playing this weekend? I know that ME & MW are both playing in Powell's play day. What about the rest? JCHS scrimmages Carter today. Idle this weekend. JCHS vs Carter: JCHS threw junior pitcher 5 innings and freshman pitcher 2 innings. Helton (senior) and Hill(sophmore) pitchers unavailable JCHS wins 5-2. Both runs scored by Carter given up to errors while junior pitcher was on the mound. Hill and Leon only given up 3 runs so far. Hill 1 (unearned) vs. Farragut. Leon 2 vs JCMS middle school in scrimmage(1 unearned 1 earned). Jeff still hitting the ball and defense is sharp. Come on guys How is the rest of the IMAC doing, surely JCHS isn't the only ones playing ball! How did Cherokee and Greeneville do in the Johnson city tournament?? mwtfan
JCHS scrimmages Carter today. Idle this weekend. Powell Play Day has just been cancelled - guess we'll have to find out if there'll be sunshine next week
quietobserver
Is Powell Playday really cancelled or is the sun not ready to shine on west? Haven't heard from any of the coaches yet cancelling play.

I don't think MTW would lie, and I don't know why JC keeps referring to junior pitcher, her name is Ashley Earl.
