Scrimmages are not a big indicator, but Cleveland will be good this year. Only lost 2 starters from last years substate team.

Cleveland possessed the ball about 60% of the time or so it seemed. The first goal from Bearden came due to a defender slipping in mud and the second was just an excellent finish. Cleveland's defense played good and contained Bearden's odd 3 forward formation very well. Do not underestimate Cleveland. Expect them to be a powerhouse these next 2 years. Loaded w/ sophomores they made it to substate and lost a game i believe they deserved to win, I cant wait to see what they do this year and the next.

Yes they played Alcoa. The score was 3 to 0 for the first half when both teams played straight up. Then in the second half new players were brought.

sounds like cleveland is having a good pre-season what's there schdule like and are they ready for the season?

Like everyone says....it is hard to read alot into scrimmages. Unless, both teams have pretty much everyone there and playing them in their positions. Was this the case in the McCallie scrimmage? Who does Cleveland play in the regular season. Do they play the traditional powers from Chattanooga area? Notre Dame, Baylor and McCallie...I have not seen their schedule yet.
