Farragut vs. Bearden (Round 2)

The April 17 Maryville Times reports:

 

"In the opinion of William Blount baseball coach Richie Wilhite, Bearden has the best offense in District 4-AAA. " . . . "Farragut is very tough offensively, but (Bearden) has hit us a lot harder than Farragut has," Wilhite said. "In our district, they're the best offensive team we've seen."

 

So there. Its not just me and cruiser and all the other Bearden fans who know that we're gonna beat the hadmirals on Monday. William Blount and every other team in district knows that we are the better men. farragut got lucky the first time and just squeaked past us. This time we beat you. And after that William Blount's gonna take its turn too.

 

Farraguts been livin too long on luck, homecookin' and hype and on Tuesday morning your so called national rankings are ours! Go Dawgs!

Dang has Bearden played anyone this year? I don't mean to bash them but they seemed a bit lost against the young lefty tonight. But I do have to say.. Halliday hit an absolute bomb tonight!

Bearden gets revenge on pharr and ramsey and the rest of them and take away their hyped up state and national rankings. On Monday nite Bearden's seniors show why they really deserve the rewards=not faraguts ragtag bunch of wannabes. Way to say it allvoll247--revenge on the fatmirals will be so sweet.

Every home run hit by Farragut tonight would have been out in any park. All except one were hit onto Kingston Pike. Also you'd think after getting beat my 6 runs you'd maybe just give up, but the finely educated folks at Bearden think they still have a shot. Well good luck the rest of the season and maybe just maybe you will get the chance to play Farragut again and then you will probably get run ruled.

Bearden also had 3HRs. so 7HRs total.

 

According to the article that will be in the paper today.. Farragut was up 10-0 after 4. Farragut had 14 hits and Bearden struck out 14 times.

There is no need to just completely trash them. You must not be a real Farragut fan. Us Farragut fans have to come to love their ignorance and lack of knowledge. We let them speak their mind before during and after they lose. We have come to accept the fact that, as many times as you beat them at whatever sport or anything, you are still not better than them. We just laugh after the victory and move on to the next game and let them complain to themselves.

I don't care what the FHS people say, but BHS can hang with FHS...they showed it in the 3-2 ballgame earlier in the year. That game BHS had very good pitching, but no offense til the 6th and this game BHS had no pitching until the 4th, but scored 4 runs off a very good pitcher who hadn't given up a run all year. Just know that we will play each other at least 3 more times this year. In the District semis, District champ(maybe 2x if loser wins 1st game), and Region Championsip. Both teams are very very good this year and anything less than state for BHS is very disappointing.

You are wrong allvol. Bearden is no match for Farragut, they showed that last night in the 10-4 loss. They pitched their best pitcher and Farragut rocked him. Bearden had no offense at all till the top of the 5th. It also helped Coach Pharr called almost all fastballs that inning too. Just accept that Farragut is better. 28-0 end of story.

bearden pitched "there ace" farragut rocked him farraguts pitcher gave up a homer when he had two strikes. i say he got selfish and wanted another k then turtle or rabbit or whatever got lucky and closed his eyes and barley cleared the wall congarts man 1 for 6 with about 4 k's this year yay man your the best farragut is much better than bearden conversation is over
