Yea some dude on here is trying to say that WB has a reason for droping Alcoa. When we all know their just a bunch of cowards.

I will try to make time to check the all time series tonight....I see NO WAY that WB could be ahead in the series. I could be wrong, but I rarely am. (see previous posts on numerous threads) I don't think WB won a single game in the 80's. We will see.

The dropping on the schedule really had a lot to do with more than one coach and people who had nothing to do with football getting their feelings hurt. (note that Heritage dropped Alcoa at the same time.)

See ex: Meadows, Reid, PHELPS (see, y'all forgot about him!) BC School Board et al.

The game would be a money maker, but I see no piont in resuming the series. Alcoa has a new AD though and the situation may change.

 

And "Doc", The fact that you are talking about Alcoa on a 5A topic proves everybody's point against you. If Alcoa is so inferior, the F5 would have never been mentioned.

You are so stupid!! I've been saying all along that I WANT to play Alcoa. All of the William Blount players WANT to play Alcoa! The only ones that don't are the administration and Meadows, who is now gone. Don't say that the players are cowards, because they had nothing to do with this. There is nothing that they could do about it.

Tell me guys... what does this discussion matter? I tell you william blount fans i am one too but, there is NO way Alcoa is over rated!!! but along with this Alcoa fans your best players play every single minute of the game and get tired. William Blount has way more depth and would wear down Alcoa. Now don't get me wrong it would not be a blow out at any circumstances. It would be close all the way to the end and be a toss up. the team who makes the least mistakes would win. I went to the alcoa maryville game and of course alcoa played horrible. If Alcoa would of played the ball i have seen them play they could of even BEAT Maryville, just as william blount had the chance to. And Maryville knows its true. Now we are all in different divisions and have the same goal- Win State. So just end it.
