coalfield head coach gone ?

I heard through the vine that Coach Kreis has handed in his letter of resignation and it was accepted. If so Coalfield has lost a great one.

I have heard that as well. If it is true it is the end of an great run for Coach K. Was also told that Coach Henry will be named as head coach by the same person. If anyone could confirm or deny any of this, it would be greatly appreciated. Hate to see such a change. Coach Kreis had alot of good years left.

I'm a graduate from Greenback. Is this truth wrote in stone. If its the truth then Coalfield has lost a great coach in Coach "High Pockets" Kreis. The transition ahead for the Coalfield community will be equal to that of Greenback 3 yrs ago when Coach Satterfield stepped down to go to GCA. Wish the best for everyone an also to Coach Gary Kreis especially.

Hope things work out for Coalfield. Wish coach K the best. Put in a lot of good years and has earned a lot of respect over the years from many different people and schools. Hopefully someone can step in and keep the winning tradition going at Coalfield. Good Luck.

Coach Kreis turned in his letter of resignation earlier this week. I believe Coach Henry will be named head coach, but I'm not sure if that is official yet. Coach Kreis will be missed. He turned the Jackets into a powerhouse and his kids always loved him.

You would have the info so I guess that this time it is for real. I hate to see Coach K move on. Is he looking for another position, or just getting out of coaching? He has done wonders at Coalfield and will be missed. Good luck to the Jackets as they go through a tough tough transition.

I'm sure money wouldn't be an issue if Coal Hill Academy decides they want to lure Coach Kreis out of retirement.

I don't believe this is true, but if it is, then jackets will have a long season, Coach Henry is good But it is hard on the kids. But coach Henry , replaced one legend and was very successful.

Unless their Anderson County connection has retired also, Coach Henry will continue as usual.
