Soxfan1
Hire one of the assistants...Dove?
bbdadx2
I am not sure that Dove is a teacher and that would disqualify him from the position. Joe Michalski currently teaches at the school and has served as one of the assistance working with the pitchers and catchers. He was a catcher himself in college and I believe he played some minor league baseball for a short time. There will be a lot of interest in the position because Renegar left it in very good shape and the team is on the way up.
strongx
Team is definitely moving up. I think they are even moving up in competition. Aren't they moving to a new district next year? I look forward to watching them more.
bbdadx2
Yes, I believe HV is moving into the District 4. They will face stiffer competition but Renegar worked on preparing his team for that by getting them some non district games that proved to be tough competition. Next year might be tough for them as they change districts and have a new coach.

Butler20
This is one parent that remembers and notices that Hardin Valley Academy currently thirst for the discipline and return to the fundamentally sound program that was respected in Tennessee. As an observer and fan, the field and infrastructure continues to become decrepit and sub-par to other local 4-AAA programs. Parents and players of past and future have giving financially and personal time to see this program succeed in the past and in the days and years to come competing against other 4-AAA programs that were more advance; HVA can not afford a set-back. Ultimately, I wish future Hawk parents and players the strength and courage to lead the charge to revitalize the baseball complex. This is your time; leave it better for the future class of Hawk players. That should be the ultimate goal of each administrator, coach, parent, and player.
