Does anyone know when and where Gallatin is going to camp this year. Also, who is the wave going to camp with?

1st or 2nd week in August. They are not going anywhere, it will be at the school. I am hearing that several teams will be brought in to scrimmage. Blackman and possibly Wilson Central. Gonna have a lot more to look at with the scrimmages being at the practice field.

I am waiting for the $300,000 face lift to the stadium to start. We are supposed to get enclosed under the home side and a new concession stand.

Independence was senior laden and very good last year. Yeah we got beat badly. Last year we were inexperienced and not very talented, quite frankly. Hopefully Gallatin will be better this year. However don't think that the talent level hasn't fallen off down in Thompson Station, your spring scores were pretty lopsided. But I don't have to get on that level, there were many good insights and conversations with some on here before the playoff game. If we meet again, we might have a little more motivation. Talk to me when you win a gold ball....we have several. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Blackman may be the only participant during the actual camp. I think Wilson Central is the week following. I know ya'll region 4 guys are interested so I will give details when the times come. These both will be good quality matchups. Wilson Central was on fire during the spring and might have reloaded. We scrimmaged Blackman in the spring but neither one of us was at full strength. Blackman did have some speed and they burned us on several plays so it will be interesting to see us with our starting tailback/dback playing and how our qb has improved during the summer.

Yep a little over a week away. I would imagine it being held in the morning but I could be wrong.

This is how it will go. Blackman is leaving their school at 7 in the morning i believe. it will be an ALL DAY thing. not sure of the order but they are doing special teams scrimmage. 7 on 7 i beilieve as well. and 1 on 1. and then later on in the afternoon they will have a full scrimmage. yepp thats right people ITS FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!!!!

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
