Best Linemen in Tennessee

Recommended Posts

Cliff Jones of MUS has seen his stock rise this summer after attending several prospect camps and posting good numbers. He's one of those sleeper types who might garner big time interest as the season progresses, much like Jared McGaha of Powell (eventually signed with Michigan State after late offers by Michigan, Louisville, and several others) a couple of years back.

What about the Leonard kid from Knox Halls? Was he not the co-lineman with University of Tennessee player Aaron Douglas (from Maryville) last year in Region 3-4a? I also remember seeing a write up at some point in time about him being on both all-state selections in 4a. Is he getting any looks anywhere?

Absolutely -- he's getting looks from Tennessee, Auburn, MTSU, Air Force Academy, Rutgers and others. He's the true sleeper with athleticism (he's an excellent wrestler too) with good speed and he's 6'4"/275.

Caleb Leonard was 1st team all state last year in 4A as a Junior.

He should dominate this fall.

He and his father have not been doing any self-promoting, but he is still getting looks.

Caleb Leonard was at Auburn last weekened and outran some rivals 4 star guys.

i was recently up at the big man challenge of champions up at powell high school. There was a lot of good teams there this year and it was tough competion, but one guy stood out to me the most.

i believe the young mans name was eric costner from heritage.

while not being the tallest guy in the world.

i saw him push 185 thirty one times on bench press.

then turn around and lead his team to first place on the five man sled.

this kid have some heads turning in blount county

Will Jackson from farragut is ranked in the top 20 in the country, and I dont know if you have seen him play but he can block half of the opponents players in one play. All state as a junior last year and has about 13 Division 1 offers. Any defensive lineman to go agaisnt him this year will probably crap their pants. Look for him to kill some people this year and hes already committed to Georgia Tech.
