i watched boyd play baylor in the jamboree... NIC HUGHES is the real deal... i pick boyd to win this game... do not know much about CAKs offense so i pick a 35-21 finish... good luck to all and lets pray to stay injury free

 

 

i didnt see emery play at the scrimmage, numbers 57 and 33 were playing middle linebacker for boyd, nic looked great and so did cole webster and jake lockert on the d-line

this is off topic but is boyd's stadium nice or for those that traveled to cak please compare it to cak's thanks

Boyd will get revenge and win this one this season. They are still not going to compete for a state championship, but should be improved. They now have a local legend in Hughes leading the charge so they should be in good shape. Boyd by 14

 

If all it takes to be a legend is playing one game your junior year....sign me up!

 

ps No disrespect to Hughes, I think he will be a fine QB, and I hope him the best this year.

Just a note that Thetruthprevails is not a CAK supporter. Marion maybe? Not sure but def not CAK.

 

 

Yep...he's a jasper homer

 

I think this year's Boyd team will surprise a lot of people. Nic has the potential to have a great year. I'll say Boyd by a TD.

 

BTW This is the game I plan on being at on Friday night. Should be one on the best games in the area and they definitely have one of the best concession stands

...Before Coach scheduled a 'zero-week' game for Tyner I had planned on being there too Zone; but I'll be in Huntsville...I'll be very surprised if Boyd loses this game!!! I won't give a TD spread...but Boyd should win!!!

The Legend is looking for a game to go to in the Chattanooga area as well. What time does this game start? I may grace everyone there with the presence of a Living Legend. I watched Boyd play 3 times last season and they looked pretty young.

 

 

It might not be a good thing for you to show up at this game, you being a legend and all. No one would pay attention to the game itself. You probably need to stay in Legendsville. I hear they got a big game against Hooterville. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
