There is a lot of pressure on the Dawgs this year but when is there not? And what we seem to forget is that most of this is a bunch of old men and has beens or kids who have never touched the field sittin in their high school keyboarding class talkin behind an anonymous name. Coach Morris and his staff are good at what they do and they've been here before as have all these kids. They know what it takes to get it done. Milan's key this season will be staying healthy and focused.

Bulldog Fan #2...

Funny things happen on the way to "The Forum". We're reading the hype about Milan. Heck, Milan is good EVERY year. I don't believe anyone needs to tell the Mustangs who they open up with. Fans need to realize that things happen that some teams can't overcome. What if Gilbert goes down or the QB for Milan dislocates his throwing arm. Injury happened to him last year so it can happen again. I don't wish this by no means.

What if the semi's are played in Nashville in a driving rainstorm? (See Huntingdon vs Union City in 2000). I'd tell everyone not to reserve a room in the Burro just yet. (I heard that prior to the Huntingdon-Milan semifinal game in 2003 myself from several Milan fans walking up to the gate).

I think the "Bulldog Crunk" has been viewed here in Huntingdon and I'm sure it has been seen by other schools on Youtube. Best to tell the players to hold it down some. The seaon hasn't even started yet. The Mustangs will show up next Friday night at Johnnie Hale and expect another huge crowd and hard hitting from both the Bulldogs and Mustangs.

Believe me, I'm a big Bulldog fan except when they play the Mustangs. I've watched them play many times over the years and not just against the Mustangs. It's always exciting to play the premier team in West Tennessee. Good luck to the Bulldogs and stay away from injuries.

Everybody is feeling good with the season about to crank up /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Hopefully both programs will have a good, safe year and see each other in the playoffs. That's the way it is supposed to be. Good luck to your Mustangs this year as well.

remember we're just a bunch of old dawgs on here to hype up our team. we do it because we enjoy it and to rattle a few cages. the team is focused on doin their jobs one game at a time and that's all that really matters. good luck to the stangs and hope ya'll have the 2nd most sucessful season in west tenn this year. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

A little over a week away. Anybody going to watch the Stangs in the jamboree tomorrow night?

The Pigskin Pals will be there. I haven't missed one in who knows when. The Hickman County and Mckenzie game will be interesting. Both are picked to win their Regions and from what I hear HC is going to be really good this year. All the games will be fun to watch but I don't know how much resistance Bruceton can put up against Camden.

They tell me Lexington is much improved and the last game against Crockett County will tell us something.

Tell Ole Joe I need points...

Can't wait to be there sporting my blue and gold! It's always a great rivalry....probably always will be. BUT, I'm thinking Huntingdon by 7. The mustangs have a legacy like none other. Just look at the last names on the roster. Anybody that bleeds blue and gold knows that the next 3 years or so are going to be good. These boys play not only for a win, but to add to the mustang legacy!

The tradition continues.......

Go STANGS!
