I thought so to. Phelps has cemented his palce as possibly the greatest olympian this country has ever produced. He is up there with the greatest ever, in my opinion.

Just watched the replay frame by frame (I love DVR).

 

You can't convince me he touched first.....but you can't convince me he touched second either.

 

From overhead, it looks like he does, from under the water, it looks like he doesn't.

I was thinking the same thing. I told a friend there is noway to actually tell when it's 1/100th of a second. I don't think there is an angle that could actually pick it up.
