The last 20 minutes of each half was mostly Freshman and Sophmores, the coach was pulling players off the field and the clock was cut 10 minutes in the second half. What more can you do. At no time did the Franklin girls flex their muscle or get in their face, they played like good sports.

Before anyone rips the girls for number of goals, entire bench played and they were not allowed to Score in 2nd half unless it was on a header, they did have 2 accidental goals in 2nd half that weren't headers.

Briarcrest played G'town tonight losing to them on a PK in the 2nd half. G'town had 4 to 5 shots on goal for the night, and Briarcrest had more shots on goal that I had fingers and toes to count! All shots either went wide, high or to hands. G'town does not have a strong offense but they more than make up for it with their defense....which is extremely solid. The midfield plays more of a defensive role as opposed to an offensive role. Briarcrest possessed the ball at least 75% of the time and stayed on the attacking 3rd of the field....just nothing hit the net.
