Somethings gotta give in this one...It's a match-up of an anemic offense (Dresden) and a pourous defense (Union City).....Dresden is 0-3 entering this non-region game with a grand total of ZERO points scored...Union City's defense has allowed 68 points and close to 600 yards passing in compiling a 1-1 record on the season....Union City had to come from behind late to win this game last season in Union City...QB Colton Speed had a monster game against Lake County completing 4 of 4 passes for 118 yards and rushing 20 times for 293 yards and 6 TD's..The offense made strides against Lake County in that they cut out the turnovers and penalties from Week 1...Speed also made some better decisions on his reads....The special teams,again made some mistakes...UC missed some extra point attempts,missed a FG and allowed a 88 yard kick-off return....Nobody knows how the punt team executes at this point..The Tornadoes have yet to punt in two games....It's hard to think a team will open a season without scoring a point in it's first four games...Especially facing this Union City defense...Dresden won't have the defense to stop the Tornadoes and don't have the offensive firepower to keep up....

If Speed dosen't play then dresden has a chance.....being an old dresden alum i went to the trenton game last night for the first time this year. Dresden's kids never quit and played with a ton of heart they just don't have the speed to break that big play. God willing dresden pulls off a win but i see union city taking this one...you know know however...

I guess you figure UC poured it on Lake County in the 4th quarter....

 

The game was tied 35-35 going into the 4th quarter...It was 48-41 with about 2 mins left after Young returned the 88 yard kick-off for a Lake County TD...UC was trying to run out the clock and Speed ran straight up the middle for a 43 yard TD...But you just couldn't stop yourself after your first sentence could you??
