Looks like Coach Barger has made a quick turnaround down there at Sequatchie going from one win in two years to 6-4. Congrats on your recent success. Last time the Indians were in "The Hole" it wasn't pretty. I don't expect a score like in '05. I hope everyone has a safe trip up.....cause I hope you have a "Long Ride Home"!!!!!!

Early pick, Jasper by 60 over Alcoa, more than that over Milan or whoever comes out of the west. According to this guy, Boyd-Buchanan is no good either and they beat Marion even without their college prospect quarterback.

Nice reply Indian... not! Could you possibly be a little more immature about it? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Origionally I was thinking region 4 would be out in the 1st round, however, the Bees REALLY helped Smith out. I think Smith runs over Sequatchie and gets beat in a close one against Marion. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

We are not worried about Marion yet. We have to get by a good Sequatchie team first.

So much hate......and soooooo funny. Shouldn't ya'll be worried about Smith County right now?

I don't hate. I don't need to be worried about Smith County, the coaches and player needs too. I look forward to going to Smith County, even if we are picked to loose. From the pictures it looks like Smith County has nice facilities.

Who are some of the key players that play for Sequatchie?

If I had to pick a key player it would be #40 #3 #50, but I think #40 is still not 100%. But over all I would say our under sized defensive line is our key players.. not one but all. This team has played as a unit all year and never gave up.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
