have advatage over them on all sides of the ball, homefield amounts to nothing as Rebels been at vandy this year,Mccallie, and of course the other Williamson county schools (where unlike HHS cant fill thier own side of the bleachers, but reason due to other county games )

HHS lives on the poor us, our special wing-t - look at common opponets played this year will tell u alot and what to see this friday......

Why do you hate Hendersonville so much?

why was the other thread closed??

Probably because it was a bunch of non-Franklin people from WilCo (Indy, CHS, BHS) egging on HHS supporters and arguing over nothing that had anything to do with this matchup. I've heard great things about the atmosphere at Hendersonville football games so I'm looking forward to making the trip Friday night. Go Rebs

I love it. Hendersonville supporters are so cocky. Franklin could care less what is in the stands. Unless your Warteam is able to run on the field and play the game for you, please stop talking about how they are going to beat Franklin. The only thing that I will guarantee is that Franklin guys want this one bad, especially the ones that got to play Hendy in '06. Keep giving Hendersonville all the props, Franklin doesn't need them, we take care of our business on the field.

Plus I wanna shout out to my boy Hogan, you've been too quiet this week. What about the spida?

retired reb, I saw on another thread they didnt even fill thier own side of the stands last week for RHS, and reason they said they were not filled is becasue other sumner co schools were playing- anyways to the game, FHS is to talented on all sides of the ball to lose, can they lose sure it is a bunch of 16-18 year old kids, but eeven if FHS comes with its B game they still will take it-I like FHS to make it to the BORO, and would love to see a rematch with BHS ( if BHS gets over CHS ) i think the running back combo with its 2100 yrds rushing and passing of QB 2100 yds makes them an equal threat -

what do you think HHS has to do to beat them - I think for HHS to have any chance, HHS will have to win the battle of the line on the offensive side of the ball, and even if they do , i dont think they have the horses to keep up on the scoreboard

That's funny, did you see the title of this thread? Who's cocky?

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
