NO,no, no Diehardpurple. According to you Marion-Jasper has the best coaches around. They are also an awakened "Purple Storm" for all "MCHS Fans" from what you have told us. As for this thread, this must be some type of joke. Cosby or South Pitt? That is the equivalent of asking in the 2A division which is the real deal between Marion-Jasper and Whitwell. It sounds like the question was asking which team between Cosby and South Pitt was the "real deal". I don't think it is talking about the entire state, at least it doesn't look that way.

No one from Cosby has ever said that we would beat your beloved Pirates, the thing is we are tired of a couple of your fans constantly bashing our program and our kids. First of all like the guy from Boyd said yall dont even have a clue where Cosby is, and now since the realignment you won't have to worry about it. There is no doubt that SP is much more the storied program than we are, but we have only had a program here since the early 90's, how long has the program been running at SP? Like I said we have never compared ourselves to your school and it would be foolish to do so. We are building our tradition still and there is no reason for your fans to get on our threads and put our program and our kids down when they have never seen us play. We are proud of what we have built, especially in the last few years, why does that bother yall so much?(by yall, I mean Queen Leon and the Ambassodor) Thats all any Cosby fan, player, or coach has ever said about anything, we didn't get the memo that we needed to run it by a few of your fans whether or not we could or couldnt say positive things about our program and not be ridiculed for it. So there really is no reason for this thread, anybody that knows anything about HS football would not even put us in the same breathe with yall, but we are trying to build our reputation up so that maybe one day we won't be that far off.

Great post. People should never cut down any team. I respect all those kids that play High School Football. Coach Shelton and his staff are doing a great job at Cosby.

Old Pirate says great comments were made in your post. Some folks tend to forget when SP fell on hard times. OP says anyone who ever put on the pads and went thru the trials of battle on the grid iron should have an understanding of how much individuals sacrifice to play or coach this game that we all enjoy. I think we lose track of reality here on coach T.It's about the young men.At SP we have a Mr.Football winner.1st back ever to win the award from here.And some of the fans who post everyday.Won't even acknowledge this accomplishment.But write in other threads negative things about how we didn't get the job done this year.Mainly because of him it's eluded.Sad,but this is not the place to put down these young men win or lose.Maybe our insecurities with our selves are on display here on coach T.Sad....
