FootGuy5...I'm curious, what scrimmage did you see b/tn portland and Goodpasture. The one I saw (and I was there) featured to good screens from GP in the morning and two deep balls from Portland in the afternoon. Neither team ran the ball effectively, both played solid agressive defense, unlike last year's meeting where Portland mopped the floor with them. Besides, what do we have to say about scrimmages? I would love for these two to get together in the regular season...by the way, Portland has won 37 straight regular season games...their ranking is justifiable based on that fact alone! :D

Foot guy you must not know football that good. you dont think germantown should be in the top 25. what are you smoking? germantown killed brentwood every year they played thats a fact. Germantown has every one coming back excipt 4. 4 people that started didnt play in the play offs because of injures. Germantown went to the quarter finals last year and do to the conditions that day they last. You will see how stupid you just sounded in what you said. This week we will play Bartlett a team that dominates their region every year and when we blow them out it will show stupid you really look. Dont talk about stuff you dont know about.

I dont think 2A teams should be in it because they do not play any one. If you think you can beat us come in play us we will be in Murfreesboro in Dec.

Go and start your own thread and quit trying to get a rub off of the articulate Mean Jean! As for 2-A schools not playing anyone? You should come to Hickman County this Friday night and watch a 2A school run wild on a mighty 4A team, whipper snapper!

You don't know what you are talking about! There are 2a schools that should be on your list! Your 24 McMinn co., Should've been at that scrimmage, and I don't care if it was a scrimmage! Anyone there that new anything about football could see that Sweetwater was the better team in all aspects of football, and would beat them in a game by at least 21 points. Sweetwater was bigger, stronger, tougher, faster, and deeper than mcminn! The only thing I would give them the edge in is the kicking game, they have an excellent kicker. There are also other 2a teams that can compete with 3,4,5a teams.Goodpasture and Tyner to name a couple. Have you seen sweetwater or any other strong 2a teams, or are you justifing that on the class they are in alone?

The key word in this post is jamboree. Soddy hung with McCallie in a scrimmage last year too...

Soddy-Daisy beat Tyner in their 40 minute jamboree on friday. Where are the Mighty Trojans? And we beat Mccallie the week before.

Watch a 2a run all over a 4a? Oh come on. There is a possibility that they'll win, but they won't win by much if they do. I have you even seen Hickman practice or scrimmage. They're a whole different team!

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
