I have not heard a whole lot about Siegel, do they have any top seeds for region 5? I think their 171 is a good wrestler. What about Spaman? Anybody seen him wrestle lately? Is he injured?

 

 

I think I have a couple of kids I can make solid arguments for depending on how thursday goes but I don't like talking about my own kids on here thats why I said that I wouldn't list any of them. Spaman will be wrestling on Thursday. Did Lemmons from Tullahoma wrestle on Saturday?

Is there a critiria for the region seeding?Some wrestlers don't face each other in their dual match's but will in the individual.Do the coachs just have a seeding meeting and try to agree who should be where?Having the two state rankers in that meeting might make for an interesting meeting.

What is the toughest weight class in Region 5?

I believe 135 may be the toughest if Tate moves down and Ramirez returns from injury. A very good wrestler being overlooked is Gabaldon(SP?) from Franklin Co. With 5 good wrestlers( Nell,Underwood ,Gabaldon,Tate,and Ramirez) and only 4 that get to go on to state 135 is pretty tough.Two others worth mentioning at 135 are E.Gessler and Froula from Tull. and Siegel.This is probably the deepest weight class in the region.

I would say 160 will be the toughest weight class. Cicco (Blackman), Spaman (Siegel), Boatman (Oakland), and Jennings (Coffee Co) are all there.

 

Foutch and Gregory are both back for Tullahoma.
