yankees
The Southeast Roadwarriors are a good team. My fall travel team has played them twice the past two years. Fall 07 we played them in a Pigeon Forge tournament losing to them 7-6 in the last inning and Fall 08 we played them in Oak Ridge at the Knoxville Thunder Fall Clash losing to them 13-9 in the championship game. Both games we had a chance to win but didn't finish and get the job done. The Roadwarriors are well coached. Speaking of Kerry Workman from a earlier post... He is a senior at Columbia Academy. He played on both of my fall teams. He has signed to pitch at Columbia State.

The SE Roadwarriors summer teams are actually the real Roadwarriors and I pretty sure they have more than 15 D1 signees thay played for them. yankees
If this green kid is so good why have i never heard of him? I've heard about watson and pfeifer. pfeifer dominated the state tournament last year and watson threw lights out this summer for the TN Sunbelt team. Who does green play with in the summer? He had a mild arm problem last year and rested it. He's a complete player and fun to watch.
bucs19
I saw both Pfeiffer and Watson throw in OK and they are both the real deal. No need to promote one by trashing the other. Both have at least half their high school career to go.
Baseball643
Well maybe you have heard of some of the former coaches of the Roadwarriors..Tommy Pharr from Farragut, Mike Rivera and Derek Tharpe from Tennessee. Cooper from Farragut and Powell from Farragut and Stallings have all played for them. They are 6-2 overall against East Cobb teams. Total of 23 D1 Signees. Not to bad. Mac Thoreson from Farragut also plays for the RoadWarriors. Very good player sticks with those big names from Farragut too. Dont forget about him. Razoraim
I've been watching a player from Father Ryan throwing at Lipscomb all winter, throwing upper 80's with a nasty slider. he's about 6'6'' I think he is only a junior
borodbackscoach
your right they did and then they went on to a bigger tournament and didn't win a game. there good but not the best in the nation The East Cobb Yankees season ended in Farmington, NM at the Connie Mack World Series. There are a few younger teams that call themselves the Yankees, that might have been them that went to a bigger tourney and didn't win a game. Check out www.eastcobbyankees.com. The site speaks for itself. As for the Road Warriors. Does anybody have any contact information? We are hosting a tourney June 11-14 at Lipscomb and Trevecca Universities and are looking for one more quality program and if they are interested, we would like to invite them over. Great program in East TN that has put out some very good ballplayers. www.mtdbacks.com
fightin23
I have seen him pitch and agree he is good. Lot's of first pitch strikes and good control. He throws with John Mitchell who is one of the best pitching coaches in Middle Tennessee. Landon Snyder and Eric bolton from father ryan high school landon is hitting mid to upper 80's while bolton has 3or 4 pitches that no one can touch and he throws in the mid 80's there the best pithcers they have great control and good mound presences they are very well coached by an old major league pitcher tom bolton who knows his stuff
