Forrest High School is quickly becoming a basketball haven for girls talent in TN. The last three years Forrest has signed at least 4 girls to scholarships, proving themselves to be an upcoming mecca for Middle TN talent. The latest, Senior Summer Waggoner, has officially signed with Freed Hardeman. Waggoner, a well poised and hard working leader has shown that determination and good character pays off in the end. Making her committment official last week, Waggoner will be a pleasant addition to the Universities program. Overall, Forrest players have demonstrated impeccable work ethic and proven that teamwork and unselfish play builds winners. With the present, and future talent feeding their system, it appears, this school will remain a force to reckon with come tournament time.

Im not a cascade fan, just a former player and current fan who has seen a quite wonderfull small school get to the point where it is better than everyone else. I guess that is a problem with growth. I remember back when the fans cheered a good play no matter what team or where it was. People were loyal to their school but they acknowledged other teams and fans.

Congrats to Cascade on their win. The Lady Rockets have a tough week as we play Community at home on Tue and then travel to MTCS on Fri. I believe the Lady Rockets will play with intensity this week and show why they are one of the top 10 A teams in the State. Give it all you got ladies!!! GO LADY ROCKETS!!!!!!
