Hmmmmmmmm, from reading the posts on this thread, I am wondering if Hillsboro and or McGavock girls need to show up at AAA state tournament. Looks like its over before it starts with Memphis taking home the title. South Green is beautiful to watch. They are complete and as we in East TN say, scrappy!! They foul better than any team I've ever seen. They are not afraid to take a charge, throw an elbow, run you down on the way to the ball. They also have the total team concept. Well coached AND they play well together.

Well its been 24 years since the AAA gold ball has made its way to Memphis. i know nothing about mcminn central but yaw are saying that they are a very unsellfish team. this is also the case with gibson county, they have butler, who is an outstanding player and can really fill it up, but she also a great point guard that gets into the lane and set her post players up for easy finishes. they also have other role players that on any given night can put up 14 or 15 points and reedy is capable of a 25 10 rebound game every night as she did in the district championship. this is a team who made it to state last year and they are going to want a much better showing if they make it back.
