collarbone
Who are the picks for best receivers in any class? I vote for AJ Blackburn. He took it to Loretto with a school record of somewhere around 250+ yards receiving. He also had somewhere near 200 yards agains upperman last night. vic
Jacob Victory of Collinwood is also a very good receiver. His stats probably won't be as good as others, but that is because he doesn't get the ball as much as other kids. If he played for a team like Ezell, his numbers would be way up. Collinwood has several good players and we are primarily a running team. I would love to see Jacob get more touches during a game. Last night his first reception was about a 7 yard pass and he turned it into a 64 yard TD. He only had 1 more pass thrown his way and he gained 14 yards on it. He is a senior and hopefully he will get more opportunities as the season progresses.

renegade4ever
Dusty Ray of G-ville was pretty impressive against S/C in a tough game for a soph. With being 6ft. or better with good and speed and hands, He has a great future ahead of him.
Guest DBfootballFAN
#1 Lamon Williams of DB scored 3 touchdowns and gained 135 yards friday night on 7 catches. A sophmore with great height and size, probably one of the best in the state.
MaryvilleRebels
As much as I dislike his personality I'd say Brad Merritt is one heck of a reciever. He's been under rated because of Carl Stewart and the ground game, but he'll light you up when you least expect it and he NEVER gives up for anything, he's not afraid to put himself on the line for the ball, diving, jumping, fighting, whatever! renegade4ever
T.T. Harper is one of the top receivers in 3a or any other class . He is one of the best open field runners you see after a catch.
