sls
Good job NSHD !! MW down 9 changed the pace of the game with the press, and once ahead Swaim made Hill come outside and play D, no contest, layups.
westtnsportsfan
westview better step up their game, they are very capable of beating gibson county but they will have to bring their "a" game. i just don't see it happening. Gibson County looks ready to make a trip to the state tourney once again.
NSIndian
I couldn't be prouder of the NS Lady Indians. They gave a state ranked team all year all they wanted. Coach Lowery did a tremendous job. These YOUNG girls will be moving up to AAA next year. I am sure that this Region is glad they are gone. They always give you a game. Great season. GCPioneer
Gibson Co. played well tonight. Heather Butler his 8 3's alone and finished the game with 35 points. For a team, Gibson Co. shot 72% from 3 point range. We probably shot anywhere from 15-20 3's in the game and boy was it raining 3's. Gibson Co. made some BEAUTIFUL passes tonight as well. These last 2 games Gibson Co. has turned it up a notch and it's proving by the margin of victory. It'll be Westview V. Gibson Co. once again Wednesday night at 7:00. The place will be rocking for sure and I look for another great game! We need to take it one game at a time and just let things fall into place. No reason in getting too excited about Marshall Co. losing. We still got Upperman, South Greene, McMinn Central and other schools to look out for and we still have to make it to state. Great all around game by Gibson Co. tonight! Keep playing hard!!!! I knew NS and Westview would be close. The post player for NS is very good and strong down low. I'm still amazed that neither of the 6'2 girls play for NS.

Joe Quincy
With Mashall County losing tonight it definatley opens the door for anybody to go to the boro and win. I saw Upperman vs Cannon Co tonight as well as Station Camp vs Livingston with Upperman and Livingston winning. Both teams play 5-6 players. Upperman shoots the ball extremely well but are not very quick. Their strength is that they play very well together. Livingston is very disciplined and patient and are never out of the game. Should be a good region final. Congrats to Gibson and Westview!!
GCPioneer
Joe, how does Gibson Co. match up against a team like Upperman? I know Upperman has Lashay Davis, but I'm not fully aware of what Upperman completely brings to the table with the rest of their team. Not-so HeavyD
Thanks sls......somehow the girls managed to get it done against a very good North Side team. North Side did a good job tonight, Cobb and Hill are good players. I didn't see you there.
indianmaniac17
What district do you think North Side will be in next year, would they be with Liberty? Just wondering.
