If any of the 2-3 people who read this thread was at the Forrest vs. Eagleville game last night, give us a little synopsis.

I'm an avid reader of your thread, Coffeebreak, unfortunately I was in Unionville and can be of no assistance.. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> Maybe your other reader can help.... /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Thanks for that. Sounds exciting. How about last night's game?

Coffee Break

I dont know game notes but I do know that Eagleville won so there is a 3 way tie for 2nd. Thus the coin flipping contest. I used to get my lunch money when I was in high school by pitching quarters. I wished Roberts would let me flip for us.

After a long season in a fun district....I guess it is about right that 3 of us tie. Shows how competitive the district is. With that being said, when we flip the coin, I have locked the text for proof where MTCS FAN said if we flip into 4th place he is pelting Roberts with peanuts (Unlimited Ammo) /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Might even throw a hot yeast roll at him also. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Where can we see the brackets?

Haven't seen any brackets but here is my understanding... Seeds 1 and 2 (Cascade and Eagleville) receive byes. That leaves 5 teams. Seeds 6 and 7 have a "play-in" game (that is Van Buren and FC Boyd). The winner of that game plays the #3 seed (MTCS). Community and Forrest play (that is the #5 seed vs the #4 seed).

Eagleville plays the winner of the #3 seed (MTCS) vs. either #6 or #7

Cascade plays the winner of #4 vs. #5 seed.

Also, I think the way it works is that Cascade has locked-up an invite to the regions (by virtue of winning the regular season). The second invite to the regions from 9-A goes to the team (other than Cascade) finishing highest in the tournament. Thus, if Cascade makes it to the championship game then the other invite goes to whoever they play. If Cascade does not make it to the championship game, then the other invite goes to the winner of the championship game.

Should be a fun week. Come spend lots of money.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
