...The 'home' team in a sectional(sub-state) game is never the underdog...just check the stats and you will see that the majority of times the home team wins...all I am saying is don't let Tyner's record fool you...I do know that what they see on Monday night will be different...(as it will for Tyner)...who makes the better adjustment???

...Can't wait until Monday... GO "RAMS"

Any idea on how many fans you will bring? I would like to know about what time to get there and find a seat! Should be a great one!

No disrespect to Tyner fans...but you should be asking the LA faithful how many will be there...I say a big ole gob of em!!! I will be there pretty early (like door opening time) /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Your scouting report is way off if you feel all you have to do is stop Dunn. This team is deep with players that can score inside and out. TJ Smith is as good of a pure shooter as there is, West is a close second. Dunn is almost unguardable in the open court and they have the size with Ramsey down low to control the boards. The problem is they rarely miss! There is no doubt that Tyner will be bringing a very good team to Livingston and i'm hoping to see a great game but LA has played a very tough schedule and only lost twice. Once to Upperman and the other to the DivII State Champions (Ensworth) by 2 points on their home floor! LA won't be intimidated and i don't think Tyner will be either so this has the makings of a very exciting game! I need to get me a couple of tickets for the game anyone know when they go on sale?

...No intimidation necessary...I am sure LA is not a one-man team but by no shape of the imagination are the "RAMS"...six(6) games, (three in the District and three in the Region) five different players had the honor of being 'high-point' man...it won't matter...these kids are coming to LA to win...Howard lost only twice and at this stage it's not really about the record...it's about the 'heart'...looking forward to the drive...see you on Monday!!!

If it's about the 'heart', then my money would have to be on LA. I've never seen a team with more 'heart'............... The talent and TEAMWORK from top to bottom doesn't seem to hurt either...........GO HOGEYE /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Can't speak for ole devilfanatic...but I don't think he was trying to intimidate anyone.. This game really sounds like a pretty even match-up. Depth and speed sound relatively close...both play descent schedules (and because we don't play Howard or A-E doesn't mean our schedule isn't tough either)...and both seem to be playing maybe their best ball now. On paper has the makings of a good one. I am like you, it will be the team that makes the most/better adjustments that furthers the season after the game Monday night.

Have a safe trip and hope all remains healthy.

GO HOG-EYE!!!

Classy post. I was leaning towards staying in the Chattanooga-area for a game here, but I'm starting to lean towards making that drive to see this one. Should be a great basketball atmosphere.

You make your way up here and look me up and I'll buy you a coke and hot dog! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> If no one knows me by BigDaddy, then ask for BigDummy. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

As far as the atmosphere goes...this time of the year, I really don't think a gym will rock any louder than LA's will Monday!

No need to ask how many will be there from LA! Just wondering if any seats will be available on the north side of the gym!

NO MERCY! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
