PHargis
Congratulations to the lady Cavs. Second time to state in school history. 44, when you consider the District and Region they have been in over the years, two times is not bad but they have been consistant this year and have done well. The Blackman ladies did well, of course, going on the road in the sectionals to the 'boro.

samtofam
How sad it was to see a school the size of Ckvl have ZERO students in the student section on the end of the gym. It was only the second trip in school history and an hour away from home. SHAME ON YOU!! The parents and students that sat among the parents were supportive but I can't believe there wasn't a bigger showing of Cookeville fans. The McGavock fans were loud and proud; if Cavs fans had done the same, the outcome might have been different. Cookeville was in the game through the first three quarters and hearing your fans cheering could have made the difference.

They might have done too much supporting the week before except the substate was in Cookeville with a huge crowd against Cumberland high School. Thats a bad sign for a new District when the largest high school doesn't support its team in AAA. However in Region and District play at Blackman, they supported their school very well. Might have run out of money all of these running so close. More interest in District Battles which in 7AAA had extremely good crowds. Region crowds with Shelbyville girls were not good. Not familiar with 7AAA boys. Am being to see some trends.

Big Mexican
Congrats to the girls of McGavock and Coach May. "T" is a force in the middle. Good luck against Central.
KeeperFan15
For what it's worth and most of you know how I travel to support my school. I don't know that I would have agreed for my teenage son or daughter to head off the plateau with a winter weather advisory in effect for the mid-state. Just sayin.
