Livingston Acad. should be a tough game for westview but westview will pull it out to make it an all d-13aa championship. Swaim is almost automatic from the charity stripe and rechis is the same from the tray. With help from olds and nanney this game should be guaranteed a win for westview. Go westview!!!!!!!!!!!!!good luck to gibson county as well. we'd love to see a round five with gibson. tired of hearin about livingston and south greene. go west tn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I know exactly how you feel. I am sick and tired of hearing about Westview and Gibson Co. and how their going to dominate every team they play. It's really getting old.

Westview is hitting only 6 of 16 from the field compared to LA's 9 for 18....Westview has hit one more three pointer....The stat that jumps out is that Westview has gotten to the line 13 times but hit only 7 of them including the two with no time remaining that could have given them the lead...LA has 9 rebounds to Westview's 8 and LA has 6 turnovers to Westview's 4....

 

Grace Ann Swaim is the leading scorer for Westview with 11 points with Rechis adding 7....Taylor leads LA with 8 points...

Westview...............14......7

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
