Well, good or bad - it took me about a week to get that 'CROW' taste out of my mouth!! /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

 

We play tough all year long! But when push comes to shove - the fans in the Upper Cumberland stick

together like family.........GO LADY WILDCATS!!

Well...Had Martin Westview won their semi-final game and set up the 5th meeting between the Lady Chargers and Lady Pioneers, I was going to predict a big win by Gibson County....They had beaten the Lady Chargers by an average of 28 ppg in two championship game situations after they had beaten them by four points in two games during the regular season after all....

 

Livingston Acd didn't blow out Westview and didn't do anything to really change my mind about either team challenging the Lady Pioneers...

 

GC has hit their stride during the tournament season and are just playing real well right now....

 

My prediction for the Championship Game....

 

Gibson County-71

Livingston Acd-54

 

Three scores to think about....

 

Gibson County-74

Westview-50

 

Gibson County-68

Westview-35

 

Livingston Acd-48

Westview-44

 

Livingston had to play their guts out to beat Westview yesterday.....GC played their subs in the 4th quarter of two championship games against Westview in the last couple of weeks....

LA has it. You will see it in about 3 hours. Remember LA is not even supposed to be here. Pressure is not on us oh I mean LA. We're the underdogs NO better place to be!! Won't be the blowout you'all are predicting. Hope GC players are planning on a blowout

because it will blow their minds when it's not. Never underestimate an upper cumberland team.

The way the Lady Pioneers have been playing during their tournament run a 17 point loss wouldn't be considered a blow-out....

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
