Does Linvingston Academy Boys have a chance?

Any team that shoots the ball as well as Livingston has a chance. You couple that with a guard that can break down the defense and elevate the play of his teammates and that gives them a better than average chance. There may be an issue if shots aren't falling because they are not necessarily a post-oriented team. However, if shots aren't falling, any team will struggle!

LA does normally shoot the ball very well............ If the shots aren't falling, they can depend on a great defense to pull them thru................Defense, unselfessness and teamwork got them where they are today...............Oh! and did I mention? VERY GOOD COACHING!-------------------GO HOGEYE -----/thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I definetly agree that stingy high pressure D should give anyone fits. And when you have a PTP like Dunn leading the charge on offense and creating this team can make a run. And dont count out the post play Ramsey has stepped up and played good this year.

la depends too much on shooting. they are a great team dont get me wrong, but bolivar and west tn breed some athletes. bolivar scores on dunks and lay ups i like bolivar big in this one.

What happens when they don't get layups? Can they hit an outside shot? Most West Tn teams predicate their offense off of the press and man defense getting them turnovers. So if the other team doesn't turn it over much and plays them alot of zone then how will they score? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

i don't see them dunkin on the 6'8 monster D-bo /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

A strong inside game from Livingston could be the key difference between these two teams. Does LA like to push or are they more of a set-up type offense?

From what I've seen, LA tends to take whatever the opposing D's give them. If a defense presses, LA trys to out run it for the easy layup. If a defense come down a sets up, LA will do likewise on O. Most likely, Dunn will get an isolation and try to create for someone else.

At leat that's what I see. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> LA Fans, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

/roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> OK, OK....I've read, and re-read your post, and surely I'm missing something. With a name as intelligent sounding as yours....maybe you can answer a few questions... to clear things up. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

So... Mr. butts:

Are you saying that Bolivar uses "dunks and lay ups" and not too much shooting?

And exactly how much is too much shooting?

And do the dunks and lay ups not count as shooting?

And should Livingston only defend the paint -- because Bolivar attempts dunks and lay ups? (I didn't say shoot.)

And this athlete "breed"ing program that's going on, is it done in a scientific lab?

And is this program exclusive to only west TN residents?

Thanks for all your help.
