Grace vs. Manassas

hey...you along with everyone else act like manassas should just be handed the gold ball now..or if humboldt won..they should just be given the gold ball... I am saying careful...grace could be a handful...and could just beat manassas...

I don't understand why you people can't understand the actual words that one types. I actually said that EVERY TEAM SHOULD BE CAREFUL. To the contrary, I was actually implying that Grace, Temple and whoever else also has to be careful. I repeatedly said that this is the STATE TOURNAMENT. What does that mean? That means that I'm saying that any one of these teams can win since they were good enough to make it this far. You don't just roll through the STATE TOURNAMENT. Seriously, after reading my comments, how could you have such a lack of comprehension skills that you interpreted me to be saying, "Manassas and Humboldt are the only teams that can win"? How can we even interact with one another if we don't read what one is actually typing?

1. Does Grace have the personnel that Humboldt has to MAKE THEM play like that? Craigmont and Ridgeway did. Question is, does Grace?

2. These are teenagers. Everybody already knows they're not gonna be anywhere near flawless.

3. You have got to be kidding me by mocking the "my goodness". Please come up a little bit. My point is that you were saying they better be careful. Name me ONE team in the STATE TOURNAMENT that you can play without being careful.

You people often bring me to the edge of just giving up on you.

What do you mean by "you people"? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Sorry, couldn't resist!hahaha

I'm anxious to see how Shaughnessy does against Buckner. If I was Buckner's coach I would have him go right at him and get him in foul trouble. Once Shaughnessy's on the bench, game over.

After hearing so much about Buckner the last couple years, I zeroed in on him in the game against Humbolt today, and wasn't that impressed. I thought he was lazy, and didn't have the offensive skills I expected. I'm sure he's a great player, he just didn't show me as much as I expected.

Grace has better guards than Manasses. I really think this game will go down to how well Shaughnessy handles Buckner.

How much handling do you have to do to guard a 6'9 guy that stands out at half court most of the time? I just don't get that.

I thought that was odd too. This was my first chance to watch Buckner play, and he seemed to have a huge amount of talent. But I think he would be much more effective if he spent more time posting up inside instead of standing around and watching the guards work. He seemed kind of lazy, but a great talent. Im excited to see him and Patrick go at it Friday.

Kind of reminds me of a certain 08 grad from Grace.

Trust me Patrick will find out just how lazy this kid is. How can you'll get on coacht and call the top 30 player in the nation lazy where have you'll been?

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
