Seems like Wando and Irmo are perpetually top rated teams in SC. Names seems to be lacking.

Seems Eastside (SC) was in the hardest group of the four. Norman North (OK) was in it, Wando (SC) was in it and Eastside (SC) was in it.

Norman North beat Eastside, Wando beat Norman North, Eastside beat Wando. All 3 teams in some poll are ranked in the top 25 in the nation. pretty tough group. All 3 were 2-1-0. Eastside won the group with 19pts(having to do with wins and goals scored). Norman North 18pts including -1 for a red card, but Norman North would have lost because of goal differential, I think, anyways.

Irmo was not in the tournament, and neither was other power Northwestern.

Group A - Final Standings

1st Place: Eastside (2-1-0), GF-8, GA-4, ######-(+4), 19 Points;

2nd Place: Wando (2-1-0), GF-7, GA-6, ######-(+1), 18 Points;

3rd Place: Norman North (2-1-0), GF-6, GA-3, ######-(+3), Tech. Red -1, 18 Points;

4th Place: Christ Church (0-3-0), GF-4, GA-11, ######-(-7), 4 Points;

Group B - Final Standings

1st Place: Farragut (3-0-0), GF-3, GA-0, ######-(+3), Straight Red -2, 22 Points;

2nd Place: Bob Jones (2-1-0), GF-6, GA-4, ######-(+2), 18 Points;

3rd Place: Brookland-Cayce (1-2-0), GF-6, GA-8, ######-(-2), Tech. Red -1, 9 Points;

4th Place: Walhalla (0-3-0), GF-6, GA-9, ######-(-3), 5 Points;

Group C - Final Standings

1st Place: Chapin (2-0-1), GF-5, GA-2, ######-(+3), 21 Points;

2nd Place: Southside Christian (2-1-0), GF-5, GA-4, ######-(+1), 18 Points;

3rd Place: Spring Valley (0-1-2), GF-2, GA-4, ######(-2), 8 Points;

4th Place: N. Myrtle Beach (0-2-1), GF-2, GA-4, ######-(-2), 5 Points;

Group D - Final Standings

1st Place: Knox West (3-0-0), GF-8, GA-0, ######-(+8), 28 Points;

2nd Place: Lexington (2-1-0), GF-2, GA-1, ######-(+1), 16 Points;

3rd Place: Riverside (1-2-0), GF-3, GA-5, ######-(-2), Straight Red -2, 7 Points;

4th Place: Sumter (0-3-0), GF-1, GA-8,######-(-7), 1 Point;

######= Goal Differential....

So Farragut should be 3rd place because they have more points than Chapin.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
