Bearden vs. West

Too much controversy or red cards with the West team. Its sad because they really had some talent.

 

 

Glad that Bearden and Farragut will be representing East TN at the State Tourny.

 

So what I'm hearing is, if West had won, they would have been playing Farragut without Tanner, again?! /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Agree with controversy and talent comment, it's a shame.

Bearden and Farragut are definitely two great teams. I think Morristown West will be playing one of them in a sectional game. I have not seen Morristown West play, but a friend told me that they have a solid team. Any real chance they could spoil another Farragut-Bearden rematch in the state tournament?

Anything can happen and that's the beauty (and downfall) of this game when it's single elimination time. They had a respectable showing at the Bearden Invitational early in the season tying CAK 1-1, beating Catholic 3-2 but losing to Farragut 4-0. I think the "lunch to everyone" wager if MW goes that weekend undefeated was made; pretty humorous banter back and forth. I'm sure they are a different team and by looks of their record and results, a successful run, so far. Their only other loss was against Sullivan South, their Region 1AAA Final opponent tomorrow evening - should be a good one.
