OldSoccerFan
There were a lot of great players in AAA this year. Who would you nominate to your all state team? How about these few players for starters? (These are in no certain order and there is room for a lot more) Kingsbury??™s Fakhry Khulfan Farragut's Trevor Greico Brentwood's Nicholas Desalvatore Bearden's Ryan Campbell Riverdale's Patrick Compton Cleveland's Adam Gonzalez West's Tanner Thompson Bearden's Alex Wilkerson Hendersonville's Paco Hernandez Farragut's Sam Eddy Farragut's John Jester Oak Ridge's Ryan Wilson

Here is my list from our region: Ryan Stinton (Farragut) Trevor Grieco (Farragut) Alex Wilkerson (Bearden) Ryan Campbell (Bearden) Tanner Thompson (West) Ryan Pugh (Maryville) Ryan Wilson (Oak Ridge) Taylor Grim (Oak Ridge) Stefan Fox (Sevier County)

I like your list Dins. All of these are great players and well deserving. Have they even announced All Region Players yet? How many typically make All State? Easily the primary reason why only one goal was scored on them during the playoff run. With winning state you can also throw in a few more Farragut names: Nick Peterson and Kendrick Shuettler. Nick, Ryan & Nicholas all playing for a "sexy" club team with a winning reputation, while Kendrick putting in time on an average D1 team, but stepped up big with his defensive play all year. PinballWizard
Nick Muth and Wayman need to be given a ton of credit. I think I saw them get beat once in the state tournament. ONE TIME..just one time they had to chase down a player or just block a shot. They SHUTDOWN the other team completely. If Wayman and Nick dont get All-State then it proves that the system is flawed. From Farragut there should be 4 or possibly 5 All-State Nominees. 1.Trevor Grieco 2.Ryan Stintion 3.Nick Muth 4.Wayman McClaughlin 5.either Sam Eddy or Brandon Klarnar All of these players absolutely dominated their competition in the tournament. Nick D'Salvatore or whatever his name is from Brentwood is so over-rated and would not stop talking trash the whole game. When down 2-0 he still would dis-respect the team. He needs to learn some class before he'll progress. Great year Farragut

ahskick14
Thats how most of the Brentwood players are... nick is most definitely not overrated. he was a huge factor in the team even being there to begin with. being at the game, trash talking was coming from both sides, mostly on the farragut side as well as their fans. he was probably just frustrated at how his team had been playing that game. it was probably the worst game i had ever seen brentwood play. ihavenofriendzz
it was probably the worst game i had ever seen brentwood play. Isn't that what everyone says? I mean really. It is true. When you lose a game you feel you should have won, it always seems to be "the worst game they have played".... Losing because the other team is simply better is completely different than losing because you played bad. From all the Farragut soccer games I have seen, I think I can maybe recall 1 time when a Farragut player was trash talking... Generally it is the other team taking shots at Farragut. I don't think Wallie would let his players talk trash and not be punished for it.
